Can I leave my bird alone when I go on vacation?

Answer:

Hello Sharmon,

If your bird is able to use a cage water bottle and can eat non-perishable food (like pellets), then your bird may be able to be left for at most 48 hours.

Birds need fresh water daily (if not twice a day), so water bottle use is a must.

But again, only for 48 hours or less. Any more than that and you need a bird sitter or a place to board your bird.

God bless,

Michelle Jay
